HP unveils ultra thin windows tablet - ElitePad 900
Hewlett Packard has announced its latest ElitePad 900 tablet which is powered by Intel’s Atom Z260 (Clover Trail) processor and runs Windows 8 in it. HP has specifically designed this tablet for business and governments keeping in mind almost every kind of usage. Company says, the tablet is ultrathin, lightweight and it has features to keep managers happy.
With only 9.2 mm thick and 680 grams in weight, it has 10.1 diagonal display and gorilla glass screen. Keeping in mind the thinness and productivity, HP has put in it an ultra-thin long lasting battery that can survive up to 10 hours approximately.
The tablet will come with 32 and 64 GB of internal memory but it can be further enhanced by inserting a separate SD card (recently Kingston has launched a very affordable 128 GB of SD card).
HP claims that tablet is not only stylish but it also offers military grade durability for drops, vibration, dust, temperature extremes and high altitude.
