Ufone has sort of blended 5 Star SMS offer and free balance thing for creating this new offer that gives free balance, lowest call rates and free SMSes.
As per offer, those who haven’t used their Ufone SIMs since July 1, 2012 will get free balance of Rs. 50 from Ufone, apart from this, free calls to any Ufone number for 24 hours at the rate of Rs. 1.5 + tax per hour and free SMS to all networks for the whole day provided you have sent 5 paid SMS prior to getting free SMSes.
The process is very simple, put your Ufone SIM into the mobile and dial *234# or write ‘Free’ and send SMS to 234.
The offer is valid till August 31, 2012 and it will take 2 hours before your package get activated from the time of subscription
Subscription charges are 1 paisa + tax whereas free balance of Rs. 50 is valid for 7 days. This free balance cannot be used to call international numbers or other networks.
