Microsoft is calling it;s new Office 2013 suite with the codenam Office 15, which is a modern version of the software that is used on a billion of PCs in the worldwide.
While we were testing the new Microsoft Office 2013, then we found that some of it's applications have gotten a fresh coat of paint and not much in the way of new functionality. Many of the other programs have been gifted with a raft of features tweaks and upgrades. But we found that the most dramatic changes were not in any application-specific feature, but in the structure and packaging of the whole.
Some of the new features which we felt in Office 2013 are written as below....

Now Microsft has added a new feature Office 2013, by which users can easily store their documentsin Microsoft's Skydrive, which is a cloud based storage facility. Office 2013’s big innovation is its ability to let users stream a full-featured version of Office to a PC with personal settings intact — an on-demand Office suite whenever you require it. This requires an Office 365 Home Premium subscription, but its ease-of-use makes it a compelling prospect for users who are comfortable using Microsoft's Office suite and require more document editing functionality than Google Docs or Microsoft's own Office Web Apps provide. Despite that you can also buy a Standalone version of the Office 2013 for your desktop and utilize Skydrive ad an online storage hub for storing your documents.

New Metro User Interference

Microsft has emphasis on a clean and Metro style user interface , and the apps particularly fit well inside Windows 8, despite the fact they run in the desktop mode.
Office 2013 comes with touch Mode feature. Microsoft has added a new feature of account sign in option on the right-hand side of its Office 2013 applications, providing access to some third-party linked account data, such as Flickr or LinkedIn, and the option to store documents in the SkyDrive cloud.

By default, the documents will open in a Protected View, but an enable editing button lets you modify the content and save the document as a PDF again.

Microsft Word 2013, is now supporting online video, so now you can easily embed Online videos in your Microsft Word 2013 document. You can easily add video from Bing , YouTube, or by using a video embed code. While using this new feature, we found that the videos played in Flash for me rather than HTML5 video.
