Since the past few days, there is much news about how come July 9th, systems infected with the dreaded DNSChanger virus may be pulled down.In July the Internet Systems Consortium is going to permanently shut down DNS servers deployed so that it can serve as temporary surrogates for rogue DNS servers shut down.If your PC, has been infected by this, then it can be possible, you might be unknowingly be using one of the FBI's temporary servers to access the Internet, and if you will not change that, then you will be not able to access the Internet after FBI pulls the plug on its servers.

DNSChanger is a Trojan virus that surfaced in 2007 and had infected millions of machines.This malware would redirect your computers to hacker created Websites, where cyber-criminals sold at least $14 million in advertisements. It also prevents computers from getting require security updates, so that your PC can be vulnerable to malicious software.
To check if your PC is infected with this! just go to one of the DNSChanger Check-Up websites, which are maintained by security organizations acroos the world.
